About CARE Social Ventures Consulting
CARE Social Ventures is an incubator and consulting firm that specializes in helping INGOs created social enterprises identify where a social concept is on a growth and survival continuum to become a social business. CARE Social Ventures Consulting aims to help each enterprise identify the greatest risks to their survival as well as the greatest opportunities for their growth and impact by working with industry leading investors, entrepreneurs and thinkers to assess the financial, operational, and social aspect of each enterprise.
We create, edit and validate the financial, social and operational criteria linked to each stage and survival rate by using a unique set of fifteen criteria, such as impact, profit rate, and leadership, to ‘locate’ where each social enterprise is in the stage gate continuum and help each enterprise see what actions are most critical for them to take to graduate to the next stage gate, hence increasing their chance of survival.
Our north star is to help the social enterprises we support to provide jobs and services to over 10 million people by 2030, on the path to ending global poverty.
CARE Social Ventures Consulting also assists with setting operational benchmarks for social enterprises to become a self-sufficient enterprise and fully capable of delivering social impact. CARE’s scale allows us to view a pipeline of nearly 1,000 current projects, which can graduate to be approved as part of the social enterprise pipeline, CARE Social Ventures, which has helped over 50% of social enterprises survive past their first 3-5 years and almost 20% of social enterprises survive with outstanding success. Our north star is to help the social enterprises we support to provide jobs and services to over 10 million people by 2030, on the path to ending global poverty.
